How to Create a WordPress Website

To create a WordPress website is very easy, even non-tech users can also design their own websites easily. Because all the tools and programs of WordPress are built in such a way that you can easily interact with the various components and incorporate them into your site.
The following are the steps involved in creating a WordPress website.

Choosing a Domain Name and Host:

To bring your website online, you need a domain name and hosting space. The domain name enables you to give your site your own name and on the other hand, hosting gives space to your site on a server which makes your website loads swiftly and smoothly without going down for hours.
The domain name should be short and easy to remember, brandable and catchy which defines your business. Choosing a domain name is not easy with fulfilling all the criteria as millions of domain names are active.

Choosing a Theme/Template:

After installing WordPress, you will see a simple and plain site. To make it more robust, smart, attractive, full of content, you need to install the most appropriate themes. It adds a visually appealing look to the front and other pages of your website.
To implement this, log in to your WordPress site, and you will be able to see the first screen, it will be your dashboard. After logging in, you can access 150 free themes. You will get the theme option under the Appearance menu. After clicking on that theme option, it will take you to another screen where you can see square-shaped boxes with individually installed themes. To add a new theme, click the “Add New” button at the top of this page. It will navigate you to another page where you can see the thumbnails of all the themes that are free to install.

Creating New Pages and Posts:

After choosing a theme, you need to add pages to your website. To add pages, you have to go “Pages” and select the option “Add New”.
Likewise, you can add content, firstly go to the “Posts” and select the option “Add New”. You must refresh the site after every update from the WordPress dashboard otherwise changes do not reflect on your site.
