Nowadays people depend on the internet to find the services and products they need, it means if you want then to become your customers, your website needs to appear in the search engine result for the words and phrases they are searching for.
The search engine like google have over 200 ranking factors that help you to take your website to the first page on SERP or it can throw it somewhere down where no one can see it. SEO keywords play an important role in ranking your website to the top of the SERP.

What are SEO Keywords?

SEO keywords are nothing but the words that define your content i.e. what your content is about. These are the words that searchers use to reach your website using search engines. Keywords play an important role in a website when it comes to Search Engine Optimization. A website with relevant SEO keywords knows what type of keyword their visitors exactly use to visit your website.

Keyword density shows the number of times a keyword appears on a given webpage as a ratio or percentage of the overall word count. It also refers to keyword frequency or the frequency with which a specific keyword appears on a webpage.

How to Calculate Keyword Density?

To calculate the keyword density of a webpage, you can simply divide the number of times a given keyword is appeared by the total number of words on the page and the resulting count is the keyword density of that page.
